You wouldn't wanna see more.

After makeup :

(I used everyday mineral's Mint concealer all over my face to cover the redness...)

This is the day that I am going to visit Dr Chan.
Please just imagine the sadness in me.
I don't even dare to look into the mirror.
Aknymecin no longer works for me, in fact, it made things worse.
Look at my face's skin tone and my body, it's so red and shiny.
Shiny because it's dry and tight.
I have no idea why it's red.
My face was also hurting very badly because the face is swollen, and having many inflamed pimples.

Just imagine washing your face that's filled with pimples and dry skin. With nose dried like tree trunk....
It's not smooth, it's creepy... It's bumpy, it's rough...

I was crying everyday, throwing things around, locked myself in room, lie on the bed and thinking why, change the pillow cover everyday, reapplying aknymecin, stayed away from mirror...

Totally depressed.
I tried googling all the solutions for acne, but none of them works.
I wanted to go to a dermatologist, but it was too expensive, and I had seen a girl with negative effect after going to one.

She's 19, but looked like 30. Because her doctor prescribed her Isotretinoin a day a pill. Ended up she dries like a flaky human. Her skin was all shedding, her arm and body everything. The doctor is crazy, isotretinoin is bad for the bones. I wonder how is she now.

Then I tried to go flowerpod forum again, finally I found a solution... Which I didn't trust at first due to so many incidents of failures.

Mindset (skip this if you already know)

Know what's on my mind?
"my face is already that rotten... now this is a cheaper alternative... just give it a shot..."
I won't wait for my hormones to balanced for clear skin, that's just so stupid.
Some people think having pimples is a natural state of puberty, and seeing a doctor is a waste, and it will be gone after puberty.
Yes, it may be gone, but some 60 years old grandma is still having acne problem. Do you think they're having puberty?
And let say if you have severe acne, then are you going to just sit back and wait for it to be over?
You shouldn't ! You know why?
Because if you just sit back and wait for your pimples to be gone because you think it's just a stage of puberty, you're damn stupid. You'll get a ugly scarred face even after your skin clears up. And the scar will follow you for your whole life, even laser is of no help.

To be frank, I no longer support the method of my first entry.
The doctor had prescribed me Aknemycin which is high doses of Vitamin A. By applying them onto the face, you're actually drying your pimples, and at the same time your skin.

If you had mild acne problem, I thinkit is ok for you can try this method by applying at the affected area only.
I used to apply them all over my face, as it can then give and 'overall protection'. It gave me marvelous results at the beginning.
But after sometime, everything reverted back to square one.
Worse of worse, I had gotten skin sensitivity due to the dryness. The dryness had actually 'eaten up' (thinned) my skin, causing it to be allergic to many products.

Aknemycin/Proactiv/Acne clear or any acne treatment that you can found in pharmacy is basically using some chemicals like benzoyl peroxide to dry up your face to prevent the formation of acne.
It may works for some(guys especially, as their skin layers are thicker), but not for all, or long term.

After reading all the good reviews, I had decided to give it a try.
I was thinking "since my face is already this rotten, just give it a try. it can't be rotten any further anyway."
The price isn't expensive also, in fact consider quite cheap if it's as good as the reviews.
About $50~$70 only, no consultation fees charged, only medicines.

After a month

(Zoom to see the tiny bumps !)

And after a month, I can see visible results.
My skin had gradually cleared up, and at the 2nd month of treatment, my skin is clear. (As seen from the photo above)
Even my friends and collegue commented my skin had improved very much.
They were actually shocked by the sudden change of my skin.
Every (trust me, is every) of them envied my clear skin.
Even my sister thought I put foundation at home.

Now, foundation is no longer necessary(but i still do use them) for me.

So I wish you guys have nice clear skin too !

P.S : I do not benefit from this entry. It is basically a true, genuine review from me, for the wish of wanting everyone to have beautiful skin.

Experience

Uhm, now I only go to him when my acne are back (touch wood).

Although he said no skin care products, but I still used Shiseido's The Skincare series softener and Night moisture recharge.
Because if I don't use them, I'll flake.
I have dry skin that produces a lot of oil.
So contradicting right?
